    Delicious Naan Flatbread Pizza

The Bicker Bunch gang recently took a trip to France and while we found all the food to be excellent, like the pizza. While I never thought the pizza to be something great in France, it totally is. While this is definitely not up to anything we ate out there, this flatbread pizza is such a good quick lunch for those lazy weekends or if you’re working from home.

    Flatbread and Flavor

For this Quicky, I use naan flatbreads for their unique texture, it lends itself perfectly to a nice crispy outer crust with a center that has an excellent chew. Top that with your favorite sauce and any of your favorite toppings. I used beef and red onion to give it a bold flavor. Try this with some sliced chicken breast or sausage too. You could even go the vegetarian route and use butternut squash or chickpeas as a main topping.

While you might have a difficult time finding mozzarella pearls in your local grocery store, don’t worry it’s just a divided mozzarella ball. Therefore you can just get a full ball and break it up yourself. Additionally, you can use pre-shredded mozzarella but I really don’t recommend it. The bagged shredded just doesn’t have the same moisture content that fresh mozzarella does.

Then top it all off with a nice balsamic glaze to give it a complex sweetness and really finish it off. Your family would never know how easy this is to make!

    But enough chit-chat.

Chop 1 clove of garlic and slice the red onion into half rings.

Heat a medium skillet on medium-high, once hot add olive oil, garlic, and ground beef, and cook, breaking meat up into large chunks until browned.

Brush Naan on both sides with oil. Then add marinara sauce, beef, onion, and mozzarella pearls like you would any pizza.

    Bake in a 400 ℉ oven for 12M

Remove from oven, drizzle with balsamic glaze and enjoy!
