Delicious Naan Flatbread Pizza
The Bicker Bunch gang recently took a trip to France and while we found all the food to be excellent, like the pizza. While I never thought the pizza to be something great in France, it totally is. While this is definitely not up to anything we ate out there, this flatbread pizza is such a good quick lunch for those lazy weekends or if you’re working from home.
Flatbread and Flavor
For this Quicky, I use naan flatbreads for their unique texture, it lends itself perfectly to a nice crispy outer crust with a center that has an excellent chew. Top that with your favorite sauce and any of your favorite toppings. I used beef and red onion to give it a bold flavor. Try this with some sliced chicken breast or sausage too. You could even go the vegetarian route and use butternut squash or chickpeas as a main topping.
While you might have a difficult time finding mozzarella pearls in your local grocery store, don’t worry it’s just a divided mozzarella ball. Therefore you can just get a full ball and break it up yourself. Additionally, you can use pre-shredded mozzarella but I really don’t recommend it. The bagged shredded just doesn’t have the same moisture content that fresh mozzarella does.
Then top it all off with a nice balsamic glaze to give it a complex sweetness and really finish it off. Your family would never know how easy this is to make!
